This message is yours, and you've already got it. If you'd also like us to have a copy, it helps us show decision-makers the weight and range of public concern in people's own words. This is optional — leave both boxes unticked and nothing is sent to our server.
Nothing is published automatically — a person reviews every shared story first, and removes anything that could put you at risk. Once approved, it may appear on our messages page — with your name and city if you shared by name, or your state only if you shared anonymously. Your street address, ZIP code and phone number are never sent — they're only used to format the letter on your own device. If you share your email, it is never published; it's only used to reach you about your story. You can ask us to delete your story at any time, and our privacy policy explains exactly what we keep.
